Astrud & Joao; an evening that takes off with the music that united the couple, and then dives deep into the individual magic that was Astrud.
Dinah Yonas Manna interprets the songs that put Bossa nova on the global music map, by reacquainting us with the stylish icon with the distinctive voice full of saudade – a melancholic longing.
”The woman, the mother, the musician, the fellow human being Astrud; all these aspects touch and inspire me as a singer. I’m looking forward to paying tribute to all sides of her and her artistry in particular”, says Dinah Yonas Manna about the concert that takes place on December 8th at Fasching in Stockholm.
