Ulf Wakenius is a Grammy-nominated artist who has collaborated with greats such as Oscar Peterson, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock and Youn Sun Nah among others. This evening he comes with his band consisting of Lars Jansson, Swedish piano giant who is known from his collaboration with Jan Garbarek and Arild Andersen; the Danish bass player Jesper Bodilsen (ECM) and the drummer Paul Svanberg. The music can be described as Nordic acoustic jazz with elements of American jazz played with great intensity and great lyricism! The influences come from the many collaborations with legendary jazz musicians!
