Saxophonist Jonas Wall is coming to Fasching with friends from Mezzoforte on stage!
This evening presents a premiere performance of completely newly written music composed together with Mezzoforte colleague Ari Bragi Kárason. A melting pot of strong melodies, rich harmonics, improvisation and heavy beats.
Jonas Wall has been a freelance musician for over 30 years and has managed to release five albums under his own name. Jonas Wall has also appeared on a large number of other releases as arranger, composer, producer and mixer. He has played with T02he Jazz Crusaders, Brian Wilson, Bill Champlin, Clarence Clemmons, Frank McComb, Svante Thuresson, Monica Zetterlund, Björn Skifs, Tommy Körberg and a number of other international and Swedish artists and orchestras.
In Umbaji he presents completely newly written music composed together with Ari Bragi Kárason.
Influences include: Butcher Brown, Hiatus Kaiyote, Marcus Strickland’s Twi-Life, Nate Smith, Nubiyan Twist, Potatohead People, Katalyst and Tall Black Guy.
