A new year begins and this must of course be celebrated. Celebrated like in Las Vegas in the 60s to be exact. Together with Ekdahl/Bagge Big Band, Isabella Lundgren and guests Kristin Amparo, Bo Sundström and Niklas Gabrielsson, this evening is dedicated to the American songbook’s most shimmering song treasures all dressed up in big band costume.
The repertoire is taken from Count Baise, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Barbra Streisand and others, all of whom are characterized by joy, swing and vitality.
