After a sold-out premiere at Fasching last year, Mathias Zachrisson returns with Känslorkestern (the feelings orchestra) for a new evening with his acclaimed album Känslorna – an orchestral indie-pop album about emotions, friendship and life’s deeper questions, for both children and adults.
Mathias Zachrisson has his roots in Swedish indie pop with bands like Simian Ghost and Light Vibes. Since then, he has released a series of albums as a solo artist. Känslorna (2025) is his first album aimed at children, but equally relevant for adults. The material grew during Mathias’ ten years as a preschool teacher, where the music was created together with the children. A poetic album for both children and adults, which strengthens the ability to both understand and put words to one’s own and others’ emotions. The album received top marks in Gefle Dagblad, which called it “empathetic, joyful and serious”.
Live at Fasching, it becomes a warm and interactive concert experience for all ages, where the audience is invited into the world of music and emotions.
