FROM

Winner of the Swedish Blues Challenge 2022. The band started as a pandemic project where files were sent over half of Norrland before everything was put together for the debut album that came in January 2022. When the guys finally got to play together, everything has gone at breakneck speed. Most recently, you can enjoy FROM at Guitars the Museum in Umeå, Östersund’s Blues Festival and Svartön’s Blues in Luleå.

New record is ready soon and is expected to be released in time for Östersund, the end of October. There is a cover of Sean Costello’s Anytime You Want, which became a crowd favorite at EBC 2023 in Poland.

The brothers FROM have had blues as their common denominator ever since their mother came home with a compilation album on vinyl with, among others, BB King’s “Paying the Cost to be the Boss”. But the strength of the songwriting lies in influences from rock and soul. Combined with Henrik’s great personal voice, the band doesn’t sound like anything else. This is real!
