Led by Mats Gustafsson’s fierce conduction and Johan Berthling’s deep-rooted bass, this 20-piece ensemble conjures music that hovers between poetry and chaon driven by garage energy, free jazz muscle, psychedelic unease and sharp-edged beauty.
