Emrik “M-Rock” Larsson co-founded hip-hop and funk pioneers Stonefunkers in the ’80s. Through the ’90s they toured Europe with hits like “Funkadeena”, “Can U Follow” and “M-Rock Theory”, putting Swedish groove on the map.
This evening with his Wefunky Band is split in two. One half is devoted to original material and fresh takes on disco, funk and hip-hop gems. The other is a full-on Stonefunkers set. Raw funk energy filtered through Emrik’s vivid stage presence.
