Pianist Carsten Dahl (DK) is one of the most wanted pianists in Copenhagen. Over the years he has played in countless trios with critically acclaimed CD releases and tours around the world for the past 30 years. The music is poetic, touching, swinging, wild and polyphonic and is described in Lira magazine as a journey from the American songbook to Danish and Nordic folk music via Miles Davis. Carsten Dahl is a responsive pianist who is often low-key and empathetic and leaves space for his fellow players, a lyricist who sometimes fills in with stronger colors.
