Jazz pianist and bandleader Carl Bagge has worked the last decades in widely different but prominent contexts such as collaborations with Isabella Lundgren, Magnus Carlson & The Moon Ray Quintet, Svante Thuresson, Robyn, Anne Sofie von Otter to name a few.
Last year he released the debut album “Visitor” under his own name, which was celebrated with a release concert at Fasching in Stockholm. In connection with the concert, Carl Bagge was awarded the Gavatin scholarship for jazz 2022.
In the spring of 2024, the sequel “Don´t Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder)” will be released with a single released in 2023. The inspiration for the music Carl has taken from some of his personal role models, and the selection of these has seemingly happened according to chance!
