Kebnekajsa are the band that electrified Swedish folk music, taking ancient melodies, polskas and traditional fiddle tunes and blasting them into new dimensions with heavy grooves, psych-rock textures and a deep Nordic melancholy.
Born out of Sweden’s progressive scene in the ’70s, they’ve been called “Sweden’s hardest fiddlers” – a cult band who never stood still.
And they still don’t. Refusing to lean on nostalgia, Kebnekajse keep moving forward, with new fire, new stories and the same fierce devotion to melody and momentum.
