Vilhelm Bromander Unfolding Orchestra is one of the most powerful and uncompromising voices in contemporary Swedish jazz and improvised music. Their debut album In This Forever Unfolding Moment was a critical triumph, awarded the Golden Record by Orkesterjournalen, the Manifest Prize for Best Jazz, and received 5/5 in DownBeat.
Now, the group returns to Fasching for the release of their new EP Svens vaggsång. The music is both tender and explosive: full of spirit, collectivity, vulnerability and resistance. Each musician carries their own story, their own energy, into a shared and deeply listening soundscape.
