This is a heartfelt jazz tribute to one of Sweden’s most beloved entertainers and musical eccentrics: Povel Ramel. His witty lyrics and melodic genius are brought into a new light through bold, jazz-infused arrangements – mixing classic favorites with hidden gems and newly written material.
The concert features a stellar six-piece band led by Mikael Skoglund, and three acclaimed vocalists and actors: Lisa Werlinder, John Alexander Eriksson and Anna-Maria Hallgarn. All with a deep personal connection to Ramel’s music.
After a string of sold-out performances at the Maxim Theatre in Stockholm, Povels Vardagsrum now comes to Fasching in full concert form, closer to the jazz, closer to the audience.
