With three studio albums, a number of EPs, mixtapes and instrumental albums, Oddisee has shown that he is one of the most interesting names in hip-hop right now. The latest album Odd cure was met with jubilant criticism. The respected music site Pitchfork praised him, among other things, for his focus and for addressing political issues in a troubled time – accompanied by a strong funk/hip-hop live band: “A focused beam of live-band and hip-hop soul that rattles loudly in our present political moment”.
