If the Doobie Brothers had a Norwegian cousin with gospel roots and an impeccable sense of timing, his name would be Ole Børud. Blending west coast soul, funk and gospel, he sings with both heart and precision – no irony, just pure love for the craft.
Since reaching the finals of Norway’s Stjernekamp in 2018, he’s toured extensively and released standout albums like Outside The Limit and Soul Letters – the latter a warm nod to classic soul and rhythm & blues. This fall, he’s back with his sixth studio album Sleepwalking Again and a brand-new tour.
