Young jazz vocalist Miranda Pérez has a deep passion for improvisation, swing and storytelling. Inspired by musicians such as Jon Hendricks, Betty Carter, and Cannonball Adderley, she approaches the Great American Songbook with a unique perspective and a strong presence. While rooted in the jazz tradition, she brings a personal touch to the music through her distinct voice. Miranda and her trio offer a wide range of expression, shifting between the heartfelt and the grand.

Staffan Berglund is an Uppsala-based trumpeter and arranger who, following a triumphant debut performance at the 2024 New Sound Made jazz festival, has let his octet marinate in anticipation of the perfect occasion. And what could be more fitting than Fasching! Inspired by West Coast sounds, he presents arrangements with a personal musical language, featuring favorites from the jazz standards repertoire blended with original compositions.
