Laura Misch is a London-born saxophonist, singer-songwriter, electronic producer and field recordist whose practice is shaped by elemental themes, primal rhythms, and clouds of sound.
Her current work interweaves her three voices – saxophone, singing, and synthesis – in new music performed and released in 2026. Drawing from a lineage of female pioneers in electronic music, she has developed a show centred on the ancient sounds of air, water and stone, inviting deep listening and contemplation.
Her 2024 album Sample The Earth, named one of The Guardian’s top ten contemporary albums of the year, followed her acclaimed debut Sample The Sky and a series of self-produced EPs. Beyond the stage, Misch hosts sound walks and creates ambient “cloud baths” in disused spaces – returning her music to the natural environments that inspire it.
