Jazz är Farligt 15: Brainbombs & Lydia Lunch

To celebrate 15 years of Jazz Är Farligt, curator, writer and scene-shaker Elena Wolay brings together two unstoppable forces: Swedish noise legends BRAINBOMBS and the one and only Lydia Lunch, for a night of distortion, disruption and raw ritual power.

BRAINBOMBS have been making brutal beauty since 1985. Their sound: repetitive, reverb-soaked, uncompromising. Somewhere between noise rock, punk and an out-of-body experience. It’s not about genre, it’s about impact.

Lydia Lunch made her mark on New York’s No Wave scene in the late ’70s, founding Teenage Jesus and the Jerks and going on to collaborate with the likes of Brian Eno, Sonic Youth, Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Nick Cave. At Fasching, she’ll read poetry, backed by members of BRAINBOMBS.
