His debut album Hamstrings & Hurricanes (Edition, 2024) – shortlisted for the Mercury Prize – flows like a jazz-infused mixtape: rags, ballads and free-form grooves captured with studio clarity and live-wire energy. The final track tips its hat to Oasis, but what truly stands out is Webb’s own voice, rooted in tradition, fearless in the now.
