Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp (OTPMD) is a Swiss music collective inspired by West African orchestras, Geneva’s punk squat movement and the irreverent spirit of Dada. Since 2006, they’ve been creating music that bridges post-punk, krautrock, African polyrhythms and choral rituals. Always on their own terms!

Their latest album Ventre Unique (Bongo Joe, 2024) is a tight and politically charged body of work, where marimbas, strings, brass, twin drums and guitar coalesce in urgent, intricate arrangements. Tracks like “Tout Casse”, “Colour” and “Coagule” shift between drive and detail, tension and celebration.

Live, OTPMD becomes a singular collective force, no frontperson, no hierarchy. With up to fourteen musicians on stage, they build a sonic architecture that’s raw, rhythmically complex and deeply communal. Each performance is its own ritual: intense, joyful, physical.

Support:
MAG is the uncompromising solo project of Magdalena Ågren – a one-woman lo-fi orchestra built from trombone, megaphone, electronics and raw emotion. Gritty, intense and wildly expressive and earned earned glowing praise from DN following her Vråljazz set in May.
”one of the best live acts I’ve ever seen. Just one solo performer with a trombone, samplers and a great voice. Think like Dresden Dolls meets Bikini Kill, produced by Thurston Moore.”
– Joost Heijthuijsen, Incubate festival (from her show at AFTR fest in Oslo)
