Kat Eaton

Kat Eaton sounds like she grew up between a gospel church and a smoky soul dive, but it was in Sheffield she snuck into blues gigs as a teenager. Her voice? “Like sexy toffee,” said BBC’s Gaby Roslin. Rich, smooth, but with an edge that cuts through. Underneath the polish lies raw soul, deep blues, and phrasing sharpened by jazz instincts.

After touring with the likes of Jools Holland, The Teskey Brothers and Marc Broussard, writing with Caro Emerald and Ruby Turner, and releasing the acclaimed 2024 album Honestly, Kat Eaton has firmly staked her claim on the UK soul and jazz scene.

Live, she’s fearless and magnetic and backed by a heavyweight band with credits including Amy Winehouse, Van Morrison and George Benson. Expect powerful originals alongside bold reinventions of Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Nina Simone.
