Nubiyan Twist are back at Fasching with a new lineup and new live material! Sold out in 2022 and sold out in 2025 – when the London-based jazz collective comes to Fasching, expect dancing, warmth and joy squared.
With roots in Leeds, the band has become one of the UK’s most exciting and respected live acts. In their mighty big band sound, Nubiyan Twist whisk together jazz, afrobeat and funk like a French mother sauce. British jazz finesse, infectious rhythm and relentless fire in the same bag.
Their latest album “Find Your Flame” dove deep into modern afrobeat and collaborations with artists like Seun Kuti, but also modern London jazz, soul-heavy dance music and a guest appearance from disco architect Nile Rodgers. March 2026 brings the follow-up “Chasing Shadows” with guest artists including Fatoumata Diawara, Zawose Queens and Patrice Rushen.
