Call them a trio, but this is more like a shared nervous system. Moses Yoofee Trio make music that feels wired for movement – shaped by jazz, but charged with the textures of Berlin’s underground and London’s restless rhythmic soul.
Their debut album MYT, out on Nils Frahm’s LEITER label, is as focused as it is fluid. Thirteen tracks with no fat – just melodies that cut, beats that evolve, and arrangements that breathe with purpose. There’s UK rapper ENNY on “Green Light”, ambient drift on “This Could Be The End”, and razor-sharp interplay across tracks like “Trust” and “Show Me How”.
