Singer Astrid Ymén moves within an intimate musical landscape. Her compositions have a lyrical and narrative focus, with improvisation as a tool for tension. During her years at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm she has focused her work on free improvisation, dynamics and phrasing, with the goal of deepening her musical presence. This night at Fasching she will showcase original compositions as well as covering a few personal favorites.
