Cleo presents a mini-tour with three intimate concerts at Fasching with a full live band – a unique opportunity to experience the music up close, where Cleo and the band let the music breathe, grow and find new forms on stage.
When Cleo released her debut album “Missaoui” in 2022, it wasn’t a debut in the usual sense. It was the culmination of an entire adult life in the service of hip-hop, a powerful work imbued with experience, wisdom and modern women’s history. The album was unanimously acclaimed, rewarded with prizes and nominations, and established Cleo as one of our most relevant voices. On stage, she quickly became known as a force of nature whose performances are sometimes described as revival meetings – intense, spiritually charged gatherings where the audience is invited into something greater than a concert.
Since “Missaoui”, she has continued to push the boundaries of what Swedish hip-hop can be, together with her constant companion Academics. Their music oscillates between the thoughtfully personal and the life-affirming danceable, a range not least illustrated in the EP “Vännäs Beach” released just a few weeks ago.
In February, Cleo invites you to a mini-tour in an intimate and stripped-down environment. Three concert evenings that encompass Cleo’s entire artistry: intimacy and strength, vulnerability and power, deep musicality and constant forward motion.
